    Khula Social Aspect

    Community Engagement

As part of the KHULA experience, interns spend one day a week supporting a local entrepreneur from a small community-based business. Working side by side, they assist with practical challenges while gaining insight into grassroots entrepreneurship in South Africa.

During this time, they support practical tasks such as bookkeeping, administration, customer communication, and basic business planning, while also helping the entrepreneur organise daily operations, structure simple processes, and explore small opportunities to improve or grow the business.
