Bush & Wildlife Education Experience:
Bush School
Hoedspruit, known as the gateway to Kruger National Park, is home to an incredible wildlife sanctuary spanning 19,485 km².
This NGO is located next to Kruger, where you’ll work with children from nearby villages. The Bush School offers a unique program teaching children about their environment, nature conservation, and wildlife. Each week, eight children stay on campus, following a tailored curriculum. Your role includes assisting with lessons, activities, and caring for injured or orphaned animals in the shelter.
In your free time, enjoy game drives, explore Blyde River Canyon, or visit local villages to learn about the culture. This program is perfect for those eager to make a real impact on conservation and the community while experiencing the beauty of the bush.
