Gap Volunteer Experience
Gap Volunteer Experience
Gap offers a wide range of volunteer experiences across South Africa. We work on a small scale, which means you become a real part of the local team and learn directly from the way people here work and create change.
At the same time we make sure you can meet other volunteers outside your project, so you always have people to explore with and share your experience.
Choose what suits you best: volunteering in a private Game Reserve near Addo, supporting a Bush School in the Greater Kruger area, or helping with nature conservation in Hluhluwe and Kosi Bay.
In Cape Town you can join our volunteer hub in Hout Bay, where we have built a true community project with different disciplines. You can support education in local schools, assist with after school programs, help with sports coaching, or get involved in community upliftment initiatives. All of this while discovering one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
You can even develop your football skills or assist with surf lessons during your stay, making your time in South Africa a perfect mix of learning, volunteering and adventure.
