Gap Internships
Gap Internships
Finding an internship in South Africa can be challenging, because many organisations work face to face and don’t always respond to international requests. That’s where Gap Africa makes the difference. We help you find a suitable internship in Cape Town or elsewhere in South Africa and guide you through the entire process from start to finish.
We begin with a personal call to understand your interests and match you with an internship that truly fits. Our €400 mediation fee includes securing your accommodation, airport pick up and drop off and access to 24/7 emergency support. You’ll also meet other Gap travellers, so you always have a community around you.
Because part of our team consists of Dutch expats who live locally in South Africa, communication is easy, fast and reliable. We can support you in English, Dutch and French, so you can communicate in whichever language feels most comfortable while still benefiting from our strong local network.
Gap Africa was created to make international experience accessible and responsible. We work closely with trusted partners to ensure that both you and the organisations we support benefit from a meaningful and fair exchange.
Gap Internships
Gap Internships
Our internship portfolio is developing all the time. It often happens that students are looking for a very specific type of internship that is not visible on the website. We love making new connections and are more than happy to search for new partners. During the process, we visit the company, meet your future colleagues and check the travel distance.
Send us an email with your request and we will assist with finding a tailor made internship for you. No strings attached.
Once both you and the company are satisfied with the match, we will charge our mediation fee.
